Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: May 2026
This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains when, how, and to what extent DivestWorld processes refunds and cancellations for payments made to us. It forms part of our Terms and Conditions. Please read it carefully before making any payment. All amounts referenced in this policy are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless stated otherwise.
1. What You May Pay DivestWorld For
- Subscription plans. Recurring fees for premium platform features such as messaging, contact visibility, listing promotion, advanced filters, and similar features described on our pricing page.
- Commission. A percentage of the agreed deal value, payable on the successful conclusion of a transaction facilitated through the Platform.
- Optional add-ons. Valuation reports, listing boosts, document services, and other paid services offered from time to time.
2. Subscription Plans — No Refund After Activation
Subscription plans are non-refundable once activated. By starting a subscription, you acknowledge that:
- Access to premium features is granted immediately upon successful payment.
- You are not entitled to a refund for the unused portion of a subscription period, whether monthly, quarterly, or annual, for any reason, including non-use, dissatisfaction, change of mind, or change of business circumstances.
- You may cancel auto-renewal at any time from your account settings to avoid being charged for the next billing cycle. Your access continues until the end of the current paid period.
This no-refund policy is the standard for digital subscription services and reflects the immediate, non-recoverable nature of digital access. We encourage you to evaluate your needs before subscribing. Trial features and free-tier access are available where indicated on the pricing page.
3. Commission — Refund Only If the Deal Voids
Commission is charged on the successful conclusion of a transaction, defined as an offer accepted, an agreement signed, or such other milestone as published on the pricing page. Commission is refundable only in the following circumstances.
- Deal void by mutual agreement. If both parties to the transaction notify DivestWorld in writing within fourteen (14) days of the commission being charged that the deal has been cancelled by mutual consent and no value has changed hands, the commission is refunded in full.
- Material misrepresentation. If a court, arbitrator, or our internal investigation determines that the deal was procured by material misrepresentation by the counterparty, the commission paid by the misled party is refunded.
- Duplicate or erroneous charge. A technical error on our part resulting in a duplicate charge is refunded in full upon verification.
Commission is not refundable in the following circumstances.
- Either party changes their mind after the deal has been concluded.
- The deal proceeds with modified terms after the commission milestone.
- One party fails to perform their post-deal obligations. This is a matter between the parties to the transaction, not between you and DivestWorld.
- Disputes arising from the deal are resolved between the parties without involving DivestWorld.
4. Failed or Disputed Payments
- If your payment fails or is reversed by your bank, your subscription or service is not activated. No further action is required by you.
- If a payment is captured but the corresponding service is not delivered due to a technical fault on our end, contact us within seven (7) days. We will either deliver the service or issue a full refund.
- Unauthorised transactions or chargebacks should be raised with your bank or card issuer in the first instance, and reported to us at support@divestworld.com immediately.
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund where eligible under this policy, send an email to support@divestworld.com with the following details.
- Your registered name and email address.
- The transaction ID or reference number from your payment receipt.
- The reason for the refund request, with supporting evidence.
- For commission refunds, written confirmation from the counterparty, where applicable.
We acknowledge your request within two (2) business days and respond with a decision within seven (7) business days of receiving complete information.
6. Refund Timeline
Approved refunds are credited to the original payment method within the following timelines.
- Credit and debit cards: 5 to 10 business days from approval.
- Net banking: 3 to 7 business days from approval.
- UPI: 1 to 5 business days from approval.
- Wallets: 1 to 3 business days from approval.
The exact timeline depends on Razorpay and your bank's processing times, which are outside our control. Goods and Services Tax (GST), if charged on the original payment, is refunded only in proportion to the refunded amount and in accordance with applicable tax law.
7. Cancellation of Subscription Auto-Renewal
You can cancel your subscription auto-renewal at any time.
- Sign in to your DivestWorld account.
- Go to Dashboard, then Subscription.
- Click Cancel Auto-Renewal.
Cancellation stops future charges. Your existing access continues until the end of the current paid period. No refund is issued for the remaining period (see Section 2).
8. Account Termination by DivestWorld
If we terminate your account because you have violated our Terms and Conditions, including for fraud, misrepresentation, or illegal activity, you forfeit any unused portion of paid subscriptions, and any commission paid is non-refundable. If we terminate your account for our own business reasons, including service discontinuation, we refund the unused portion of your active subscription on a pro-rata basis.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund and Cancellation Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when the most recent changes took effect. Material changes are notified by email or by a prominent notice on the Platform. The version of the policy in effect at the time of your payment governs that payment.
